Directions - take the finn hill road exit
from route 3. You want to head away from Silverdale.(right if you exit
south bound) Follow Finn Hill road until it ends, at the light take a left
onto Seabeck Highway. About two miles down take a right onto Holly Road. It
will be the first major road on the right. Continue down Holly road until
you reach the parking lot. You should pass a fire station shortly before the
lot and there is a small sign 500 ft before the lot also. Description - Some of the most technical that I’ve ridden in Washington… few rock garden and nasty roots. If you’re a have way descent technical rider it will be no problem for you. The trails all flow quite nicely and if you not in the mood for a technical climb you can always go up on the fire road (or in the bed of a truck driving up the fire road) and descend on the single track. Wildcat trail see heavy use buy walkers, hikers, riders and hay burners. Beaver Pond trail is less used, more technical but a section has been closed due to logging. There are some lesser known trail that are fun to ride but can be a pain to find without someone who knows where they’re going. Widow maker is one such trail. Widow maker is an insane chute of a trail that is almost impossible to ride down. Tin Mine trail has been closed due to it getting torn up to badly by ATV’s. The view from the vista is quite impressive. Mt Rainer, Seattle and the Cascade mountains make up the sky line. The whole mountain doesn’t rate more than a blue expect for widow maker which is a double black. Loops - |
