Directions -  From center of town head south on 191 and take right at mcdonalds on kane creek road.  Follow for about 4.71 miles and park on right after cattleguard, 2 large parking lots are available for trail users.

Description -   Hunters Rim to Prichett Canyon - This ride was destiny for our day one excursion.  I was trying to extract some ride info from the folks at poison spider as if I was poking a voodoo doll and they could tell I wanted something obscure, when they mentioned hunters canyon, I knew it was destiny as I charted the route out with Topo weeks before and forgot about it..
Travel down Kane creek road and enjoy the scenery, when you come to the switchback in the road (see pictures), the ride starts just after the natural spring on your left. Ill warn you, the hunters canyon section has its share of hike a bike.. Following the cairns up the rock the first big portage pretty much requires at least 2 people to shuttle bikes up the rocks.. Keep following the rocks and ride as much as you can between portages. I estimate about 15 total carries, with awesome technical singletrack (tingletrack, new word??) riding in-between. Some nice rollers and some hard make-able uphill tech lines.. Lizards a plenty. We ran into some riders coming at us that were pretty unhappy with all the hike a bikes, so either they are cry baby soup girls (most likely) or counter clockwise is the better direction. Gi Jane says Clockwise is a fine ride too, and his word is bond..
You will pass a couple side trails on your left, keep traveling on the main fire road, trail turns to double track with a nice downhill section with just a bit of sand. We walked a total of 33 feet. Take a left when you reach the Prichett canyon trail intersection which is signed.. Start is a bit sandy, look for the scramble on your left if you wish to visit an awesome arch, its full on hike a biking - see map for location.
Continue on Prichett for some technical riding - watch out for the rubber tracked rocks, they can be slippery. If you didn't take the spur trail hike a bike, you can still see the arch on your left as you descend. Expect to run into Jeeps on the way up, there technical lines will amaze you.. Towards the end you'll end up in a stream bed with some loose rocks and soon be back at the car.

Loops -  I suggest you ride it Counter clockwise although GI said he rode it CW and it was still good..  I think CCW is less hike a bike..
