From the route 30 and 233 intersection at caledonia go south on route 233 for about 15 or 20 mins. until arriving at mont alto state park. There will be a gravel parking lot on the left. There will be a large pavillion across the road. Get on your bike.Go north on 233 for a very short distance, you will cross a small bridge,on the other side of the bridge on your right will be trail, take it.This trail will come back out on the road for a short distance and the single track will reappear on the right and drop down through a picnic like area. Follow this trail until it pops out on to a dirt road{staley road}.Go right, follow this road a few miles to a four way intersection,go left{rothrock road}climb this road another mile or so to another four way intercection,go left{snowy mountain tower road}go a short distance, like 75 yards or less, keep an eye out to your left for a single track, this is four logs, take it.You will pop out on to a small logging road. There will be another single track on the other side of this road almost directly across from four logs, just look around you will see it.This is turtle, take it.Follow this trail until you pop back out on staley road, then go left.Climb this road again but do not go back up to the four way again. On your way up, there will be a road that shoots off to your right and up, go up this road{wirt road}.You will have passed this road on your way up the first time.Follow this road to a pipeline, on the other side of the pipeline to the right will be a single track, take it, it will drop you down into the pipeline, go towards the hill but keep an eye to the right for a single track{not too far},take this trail,it is upper andes.Follow this trail,it will pop out on to another small logging road, almost directly across will be another single track, once again, just look around and you will see it.this trail is buckets, take it.Follow this trail till it pops out on to a wider type trail ,when you get there go right.Follow this out to staley road again,go left look for single track on left, this is the trail that you were on when you left your car, just hitting it backwards, take this back to your car.All these trails are 95% downhill since most of your uphill was dirt road, not an awful climb though.Lots of log crossings, switchbacks, rocky sections, and small jumps. These trails can be hit fast to increase skill level, but not too difficult for beginners.Very fun all around trails with a little bit of everything. Not extremely challenging for good riders, but man are they fun if you really rip on them.I ride them often and they have not got old yet.
