Drive .64 miles and park in lot on right.. There is also another lot
right off the highway, see map.. |
Description - Some pretty nice singletrack in here.. Almost nothing technical except a couple areas, pond gut was the most technical.. Good trails, great workout.. Bike head and horseshoe had some fun trails, one on the edge switchback.. Some really good flow can be found on some sections.. Trails are not marked so just go in and get lost with my semi complete map.. Update 2006 - I mapped out a bunch more trails, more nice singletrack, a few techs here and there. One of the best places to ride in the immediate area from what I have found. I assume the maps about 75% done but of course locals know best. Update 2007 - Got a tour from Pedaler845 to map out all the goods we missed on our random routes here at 909.. We had an awesome tour of some great trails that had some more technical sections. Map will be updated and possibly complete soon. Lots of trails in the pond gut area were very cool, plus a trail we missed across from Tyrell road which had some killer switchbacks, gravity cavity type roller coaster section and techy rock garden.. 909 is XC paradise for sure, thanks for all the great trail work, almost all singletrack!!
