Directions - route 9 south, exit 7, right after
end of gardrail theres a spot for a couple cars on right pulloff, or for a
different spot, follow exit 7 LONG offramp to end, take a right, take your
first right, take another right at TEE.. Follow till your under the
exit ramp, its an abandoned road that turns to dirt.. Description - This
is a pretty cool area that seems to be occupied mainly by Dirt Bikes..
The trails are very cool though and un-spoiled.. Not sure how
cool it is to ride here, there are several no-tresspassing signs on some
trails so be-warned.. Labeled as N.T. on map.. Trail range from fire road, to fire road with
short rocky sections, some nice singletrack, some muddy single track, more
like 1.5 track, whatever, some really nice rocky singletrack with rock
gardens and such.. One nice steep slick rock downhill, 20 feet
or so on the north side.. Forest ranges from tall pine trees to short
trees in laurel areas.. Found one really cool extended downhill, the
section that follows the exit ramp on the south side.. Not too
many trails are marked, We saw some faded white dots, some blue yellow
ribbon, some orange ribbon, but nothing that clear.. Made the trails
different colors on the map for differentiation only.. Trails
are long with few turns so finding routes should be easy..
The section that parallels the power lines is pretty cool.. A bit MX
rutted, but very cool sections, feels like your in british columbia, maybe
because it was raining.. All in all some great trails separated by
moderate double track and fire roads (yes for good measure)..
