Directions - rte 84 exit 168, right at
exit. travel 11.5 miles through UCONN campus, take a left on 89, drive
.75 miles and park in soccer field lot. Trailhead is marked blue.
Description - Quite a few trails in this area around
Mansfield Hollow.. Most are single track with some pretty root
infested areas, but no rocks.. Some water bars were found on one
section of the blue that may be off limits to bikes (oops).. Lots of tight
single track following the river and surrounding the lake.. One
great but short roller coaster section near the boat launch was pretty cool.
Some short steep technical root infested climbs too. Decent riding
spot!
