Directions - Rte 9 south through middletown, then take EXIT 8 (or take exit 7, U-turn, rte 9 north, exit 8 like I do every freakin time)... Anyway where were we exit 8, right at exit, travel down road for a bit you will see a dirt road on your left with a state forest sign.. Take the dirt road and follow it to a spot where the road banks left, parking area right on corner. FOllow the road a bit more on your bike and look for the purple trail on right!! Description - Another very cool section of the cockoponset state forest. Lots of great single track with some cool rocky technical sections. This ride is relatively flat, and is maintained pretty well.. Lots of rock placement, and a few bridges make your trip a breeze. One good ramp thats right in the middle of the trail (strange), and a couple narrow logs you can ride across streams on (dismount beware).. Local Business Sponsor Attention Any Future Home buyers!
