Directions - take 91 to 691 west, lewis ave
exit (#5 or #6), left at exit (girls don't stop at the mall) .26 miles
straight through one light, left at next light onto kensington, travel .56
miles right on chamberlin highway. 1.13 miles bear left on park drive, then
take a sharp left on park (you'll figure it out). Follow park for .86 miles
and stop at concrete barriers. OR Different spot is to park at
hubbard park right off 691.. Description - If you
drive on 691 and look up to see a castle on a cliff, you are missing a good
riding area. The trails here are very rocky, but not quite as
"bad/good" as the Boneyard. Some good vertical, and a
decent 10 mile loop can be had. This is not one of those constant up
and down rides, its one big climb then nice decent. Good views from
the castle if you like that sort of thing. There is a climbing area
on one of the blue trails if you have some ropes and shoes etc...
Incredible views off the blue hiking trail (East of the castle) - you feel
like your in the blue lagoon (yes in Meriden)
