Directions - From Unionville, Take route 40 to
farmington, right on 381 for about 5 miles to elliotsville, where 381 takes
a hairpin left, dont take that left, go right, then IMMEDIATE left.
Follow for about 3 miles to parking area on left. Description - Some dam fine singletrack at quebec run with a nice back-country feel. Probably one of the best xc rides in the area. 90% of the trail is singletrack with a variety of technicalities from mild to moderate, but mostly described as buff single with nice twists and make-able climbs. A few nice bridges here and there but only about 1/2 are rideable.. Couple hike a bikes along the way. Not sure on the loop you should take, we may have taken every trail backwards but still not a clear to me the best way to ride it.. If you look at the map below, we rode the loop Counter clockwise, I think you would be best off riding it clockwise. Only downer was the top of the tebolt trail where we wasted vertical on wide studder bumps, my back was numb.. THink it would be better to climb it, (IE clockwise), and you get the best part of the hess trail DH run.. Would like to go back and check out Miller and brocker, or go do it for me and report back!! Although I gave this area 3.75 on the puke scale, if your an intermediate + expert XC rider, this might rate 4.5... Loops - |
