Update 2007: Finally went back to hit some of the trails headed north toward Colt Mountain.. Some very cool singletrack. Seems like we found new singletrack everywhere. Pine? link to Bear trap was awesome, the trail work done here is VERY impressive. We were unable to find skunk hollow, but there was some logging in the area so that could have been the reason.. Couple bridges, a jump, nice whaling wall style rock work and even a log ride found in our travels.. Great stuff !! Description - This was an interesting place, some super buff wide trails that were actually fun due to some obstacles here and there.. There were also some good technical sections and some single track.. I did see some hucks off ledges trail.. Decent view from the top.. Barton Woods was wicked fun DH run.. Ill have to make it back to colt mountain next time.. Nice 2 footer on lower loop, one log ride after boardwalk, one rock section on barton woods, Heavy duty XXX bridges everywhere.. http://www.team-pinnacle.org For local info, races & stuff.
