Day 7 – Prescott – Granite basin 20 miles 2100 vertical – The downward spiral  - Roller coaster – hot poop trail. Craig had bad dreams last night about tarantulas and LUTC can vouch for him..    Focker stayed home to water the plants and take pictures of the homes artwork so we can reproduce it and sell it for 5,000 at the local extorsion art gallery.  Anyway – Precott 169 to 69 south goes both ways??  Strange vibe on this town – The youngins in the jeep following us are like where the F are we going – Listen to me know..  I hear skidmarks..  To the trailhead, I flat 50 feet from the car – first flat of the trip – I pull like 10 thorns from yesterday out of my tire..  Parking area is swarming with bees and we see tarantulas running for our bikes for a free ride.  Once on the trail, more tarantulas – Cool flatish swooping single track on trail 151 – hard pack..  Left on 146 up a short climb – to 147..  147 was like 25% AIRTIME – so cool big sandy jumps every 50 feet.  We were all smiles this trail just kept going down – faster than a whore with 3 teeth from Vegas..  Some short rock technical sections we finally hit trail 245 and we obviously missed the trail we were looking for (probably airborne at the time!). .  So this next intersection is confusing – we go straight and find the most awesome rocky technical single track – 2 miles out – uturn – I break my valve stem and flat – Talked to some nice old ladies on horses (Bikerag fans)  back to the other side of 245.  Ok now we have the right trail – very cool – follows stream bed – a bit sandy but keeps cutting back and forth with very cool rocky technicalities (I name this trail the HOT POOP trail).  So we find #252 and ride it backwards – way up through switchbacks, then down to 148 – CB and I flying around sandy hairpins, bike sideways, one foot for breaks – so intense!!  We go back to 147 and see why we missed it – too funny there are HUGE signs there but also a huge jump we were focusing on.  LUTC is done so we send him back on 148 all downhill to the car – we backtrack 147 and catch 349 which was really cool hard pack again – slight climb – then …  Another forever downhill – high speed – teeth clenched white nuckler, hairpins o plenty…  Some decent scenery here – balancing rock.  Back to car the trail is 50 feet away as promised..  Ride home CT does a smokeshow in the Jeep downtown Prescott..  Yes he is still wearing his helmet..  Focker just told me about how he was on his knees or something today..   Actually he was building crop circles on bell rock – no joke see pics..  LUTC “so did you get any anal spasms at the vortex?”    PM – “ actually loyd he didn’t have a strap on crammed up his ass like you “
