What a showing for a monday night - ME, PMD, Dead Beat Steve, Lawn Boy,
Junior, G-string (stu), seniore P and last BUT NOT LEAST Launching
Loyd.  A bit of monsoon didnt scare ANY of us away as we headed out - up
past the trials area loyd gets 2 bridges (wet) with at least a 4'
wheelie off - no other takers. FIrst couple of slick (really slick)
rocks up we were about 50/50 on (loyd was busy balancing on his back
wheel) - then a steeep downhill we all make, while loyd takes the other
route down a BC like 40' long ladder seperated by a 45 deg 2x4 and 3'
drop off - he cleans it!!! Amazing!!  His doc. must have told him he had
like one week to live or something...  We even have pictures but you
can just wait and see them in mountain bike ragazine next month
(www.bikerag.com - plug).  To the reservoir then up forever to the
insanely slick rock garden - loyd is riding like its dry as a bone,
cleans the garden and the never been made hill.  "loyd".... We all WALK
it, in shame.  "loyd".... TO the ridge, across some slick rock, to the
nemesis downhill, just loyd and I clean it but he took the harder line
down the huge rock in the middle (going about 20 mph)..  "LOYD".......
-"im melting" "LOYD!"..... "im not in kansas any more"     "LOYD - wake
up!!"  Oh crap - sorry guys loyd actually didnt make the ride - he was
just in bed with his teddy bear having a wet dream about it......
Anyway TO the jeep trail junior, breaks a chain, dropout, derailure on
the squad 51 bike that he must wash like a fire engine its so clean.
Some good riding out of junior though!!  So Junior, LB, DBS bail, the
rest to soup can yellow - seniore p and I make the crisco lauch up, down
was interesting with no brakes, I flat, PMD the only taker on the 3'
drop - cleans it, some trail unmaintenance on the bridge and back to the
cars which were set on fire by thugs - the rest of the crew was watching
as 3 fire engines put them out - pics to come soon - no joke - seniore P
gets in a pissing contest with engine #5 and looses.  LB soaking in the
pop-up hot tub with a sam adams in hand pisses off the chief - I finally
get my $35 from Dead Beat steve so I can afford to take my woman out for
a fine japanese dinner..  DBS and the evans brothers went to big steves
house for gobernment cheese and dumpster bagels..  Nice ride  Oh and
sorry for all the abuse loyd - you have been making alot of rides
lately, your right and deserve to miss one when its that time of the
month and you did forget your riding skirt.  Do you feel about as high
as the squashed bud can I ran over in the commuter lot?? If not please
let me know and I will send out some more abuse..  what do you call it
when you show up for a ride, but bail because of a little sprinkle??
Its called a loyd.. I could go on and on but actually have to work
