Directions - 84 west, exit 17, left at
light onto 63 south, follow for about 2 miles and park in one of the
pull-offs on the left or right.. Or you can just park at hop brook
lake recreation area.. Description - There are
basically 3 separate riding areas here that are all completely different.
The trails around hop brook lake were mainly double track, some rocky some
gravel, some grassy.. The yellow trail off the bridle trail was soft
single track that zig zagged
over every rock, many logs and some hairpins.. Cool stuff, moderate at
best techs, but soggy new ground (under construction I assume).. Trail
builders are doing allot of work to make it ride able though - lots of rocks
placed and stuff.. Last but not least was the trails near hop
brook on the west side of 63.. Some really good single track, fun
rocks, some gardens, small drops, decent climbs..
